Conservative Ed Hargate

For State Representative

Serving Ohio Families Since 1983

Ed Hargate has a long history of putting Ohio first. He was born in Cleveland, raised in Highland Heights, and attended Cleveland State University College of Law. There, he learned what it means to serve those in need, practicing civil litigation, domestic relations litigation, and juvenile law, among others.

(440) 473-1891

Ed sought to do more for his community. He joined the Highland Heights City Council in 1984 and has remained active on it for more than 30 years, even serving as President for 4 years.

Ed also served local families on a more personal level. He was the President and Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Friends of the Mayfield Library for 25 years, and served as Vice District Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America for 8 years. He received an Award of Merit for his work with Troop 461.

Encourage Economic Growth

Ed believes we should encourage students and graduates to attend skilled trade programs that will help develop new industries and lead to high-paying, high-skilled jobs.
